Carl Brandt Transitions CEOs

Carl Brandt revealed Monday that president and CEO Susanne Settineri will retire, effective June 30, 2023. Stan Mazepa will assume the role upon her departure.

Settineri has been a member of the Brandt-Gruppe, parent of Carl Brandt, for 34 years holding several key positions. In 2003 she was promoted to president and CEO following the retirement of founder Henry Witte, her father. Her dedication has helped shaped Carl Brandt as one of North America’s prominent European specialty import sales and marketing teams, according to the brand.

“We are extremely grateful for all of Susanne’s hard work and direction over the last 34 years and wish her well in her future undertakings in her retirement,” said a spokesperson in a statement.

Mazepa will bring leadership experience to the role, as well as a passion for developing top European brands from manufacturers such as Nestle, Mars, Cadbury, Unilever, Kraft Heinz, and Mondelez. He has served as a progressive sales strategist for 25 years driving multimillion-dollar revenue growth and increasing brand market share through the development of international sets and mainstream placement, according to the brand.
