[Brevard, NC] – 17 January 2025 -- To stay ahead of industry and to support growing customer demand, Transylvania Vocational Services (TVS) has significantly upgraded its production facilities, enhancing its capacity, efficiency, and versatility.
These investments include new powder filling lines with increased speed, expanded capacity, and packaging options that now include bags, jars, canisters, bottles, sachets, single serve cups, and pouches. TVS operates in climate-controlled rooms with bulk unloader stations, and dedicated lines for powder filling and bottling.
“Our focus is on creating high quality packaging solutions with social impact. When you partner with TVS you can expect much more than your standard copacker—we offer a values-driven partnership founded on principles of inclusivity, diversity, and community employment.”
TVS is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide quality employment, job training and residential & community services which serve to enhance the dignity and quality of life of individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment.
In a continued effort to serve both current and new customers, TVS has invested in cutting-edge machinery and quality enhancements. The Single-Serve Cup line has the capability to package baking mixes into preformed cups, fills specified volumes, and applies heat-sealed lids. Cup sizes range from 2 to 6 ounces with the ability to accommodate both gluten-free and conventional products.
TVS’ manufacturing and packaging processes adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety. The company’s compliance with cGMP protocols is supported by certifications including SQF, Organic, Kosher, Gluten Free, and more.
Growing our commitment to quality and customer service, TVS has added expertise to the leadership team. With a combined 70+ years of experience, TVS VP of Food Safety and Quality Chris Kelly and TVS COO Mark Murphy offer exceptional leadership and insight to TVS while being committed to advancing the mission.
“It is good to be a part of something greater than a single person,” said Murphy. “TVS’ mission is not only critical for our clients and employees but for the recipients of our products around the world.”
TVS currently packages baking mixes for DLA Troop Support, instant non-fat dry milk for the USDA, specialty food nourishment for children in food insecure areas for USAID, as well as packaging supplements and baking mixes for leading consumer brands.
