About Fischer & Wieser

Fischer & Wieser is a family-owned and operated specialty food manufacturer in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in Fredericksburg, TX. In 1969, Mark Wieser started selling jams and jellies from a roadside fruit stand, Das Peach Haus, made from peaches grown in their family orchard. Case Fischer began working at Das Peach Haus in 1979 as a high school student and in 1986 became partners with Mark establishing the current company while attending Texas A&M University. Case and his wife Deanna returned to Fredericksburg in 1988 to focus on growing the company by expanding the products produced beyond jams and jellies. Today, the farm has expanded into a food and wine destination known as Fischer & Wieser’s Farmstead which includes a cooking school, tasting room, guest houses, distillery, and more.
