The second Schnucks Fresh store will debut in Oak Grove Village, Missouri on Oct. 25.
The 23,000-square-foot location will focus on fresh departments including produce, meat, seafood, deli, and bakery.
“We look forward to continuing our mission to nourish people’s lives and to show area customers what we can offer them when building a store from the ground up,” said Schnucks chairman and CEO Todd Schnuck, in a statement. “Schnucks Fresh will be a store where customers will find an extensive selection of the same fresh products for which Schnucks is known throughout the Midwest.”
The Frick’s Market in nearby Sullivan, Missouri that Schnucks acquired in 2022 will permanently close on Oct. 22, and employees will relocate to the new store which will employ 32 workers.
Upon opening, and in partnership with Instacart, Schnucks Fresh will offer customers delivery and curbside pickup. The store will include a CVS Pharmacy with a drive-through option.
