Specialty Food Association

US Foods is beginning the national roll-out of MOX? (Making Operator Xperiences Easy), an ecommerce app for the foodservice distribution industry that can be used across computers and mobile platforms.

On the app, operators can select products from a catalog of over 400,000 items, manage orders, and track deliveries. Other functionalities include real-time inventory, ratings and reviews, nutritional information, labor savings capabilities, and preparation suggestions.

“US Foods has been a pioneer and leader in food service technology solutions for more than a decade,” said Gene Carbonara, VP of ecommerce and digital for US Foods, in a statement. “With MOX?, we’ve taken a major step forward in the evolution of the customer e-commerce experience from a performance and ease-of-use perspective. Our new technology offering will continue to set US Foods apart from the competition for many years to come as we deliver on our promise to help our customers Make It.”

Leveraging research and insights from operators and US Foods support teams, MOX? was developed with a strategic focus on providing enhanced speed, confidence, and control for the operator, according to a statement by the company.

The app began rolling out to independent operators across the country, Monday, and will continue expansion to additional customers in 2023. The app builds on US Food’s track record of bringing foodservice operators innovative technology solutions that help them efficiently manage their business.
