Vegan food maker Upton’s Naturals has partnered with Dot Foods, the largest food redistributor in North America, to increase access to the brand’s vegan meat alternatives for distributors, restaurants, and foodservice establishments nationwide.
"We're proud of the impact we've made by selling our products in retail stores and know that we have just scratched the surface of what we can do with restaurant and foodservice customers," said Upton's Naturals' founder Dan Staackmann, in a statement. "We are excited and ready to reach more people willing to embrace a plant-based diet through this partnership with Dot Foods."
Upton’s offers a variety of plant-based substitutes, including Original Jackfruit, Seitan, Chickless patties and strips, and a Vegan Char Burger.
"We are excited to welcome Upton's Naturals to Dot. Our plant-based offering continues to grow, and our partnership will allow us to help make Upton's Naturals' products more accessible to our customers in this fast-growing segment of the food industry," said Rodd Willis, director of natural & specialty at Dot Foods, in a statement.
