The Fresh Market Uses BelGioioso Cheese in Neapolitan-Style Pies
The Fresh Market recently debuted its latest private label offering: Neapolitan-style pizza.
The pizzas are available in 12-inch and 16-inch sizes in Hot Honey Pepperoni, Classic Pepperoni, Cheese, Ensalada, Margherita, and Pepe Fromage. The 12-inch pizzas start at $7.99, and 16-inch pizzas at $12.99.
The mozzarella cheese is sourced from cheesemaker BelGioioso, the sauce uses tomatoes from soil near Mt. Vesuvius, and the crust is made using Neapolitan flour, said The Fresh Market.
"When our skilled chefs set out to craft an authentic Italian pizza, they honored the time-honored Neapolitan traditions with a singular focus on quality and freshness," said Giorgio Bianchetti, chief merchandising officer of The Fresh Market, in a statement. "We’re thrilled to invite our valued guests to savor this exceptional Hot & Fresh pizza, meticulously prepared with the finest fresh ingredients, right here at The Fresh Market."
To celebrate the latest products, the retailer is offering a bundle deal starting May 29 that will run through the end of the year, wherein customers can purchase one of The Fresh Market Hot & Fresh Whole Pizzas, any flavor of The Fresh Market Gelato, and Coca-Cola in various formats for a reduced price.
