Summer Fancy Food Show attendees will have the opportunity to taste specialty food from Morocco during this month's Show, taking place June 25-27 at the Javits Center in New York. Morocco is SFA’s partner country for the event.
Attendees can taste foods from the Kingdom of Morocco during Taste it Live! cooking demonstrations, on Sunday, June 25 from 1 to 4 p.m. The tastings will include :
• Small tastings on crostini/bruschetta featuring products from the Moroccan Pavilion including fish rillettes, sardine preserves, mackerel preserves, peppers, olives, sun-dried tomatoes.
• Traditional Moroccan cookies such as almonds and honey briouats, cornes de gazelle, and almond macarons.
• Traditional Moroccan zaalouk salad made with eggplant, tomatoes, garlic, onion, and parsley
• Lemon preserve olive chicken
• Couscous with vegetables and meat
• Moroccan crepes topped with honey and almond paste
Also, a cooking show will take place at the Moroccan Pavilion (booth #1618) on all three Show days at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
