Smithfield Foods is preparing vaccine distribution to its employees, according to chief administrative officer Keira Lombardo, reports Food Dive. The company has the medical capabilities to do this at its facilities, including through third-party providers.
Lombardo said in an email that Smithfield anticipates vaccine availability and distribution for critical workers within 60 days and that every employee will be eligible to receive it. The company will also communicate broadly about the safety of the vaccines. Full Story
