Condiments and dressings maker Sir Kensington’s has revamped the packaging for its polyethylene terephthalate bottles as part of the brand’s sustainable packaging and sourcing goals.
The brand aims to achieve 100 percent recyclable and 100 percent recycled content in rigid plastics and fiber by 2022. With this new packaging design, the brand is at 24.1 percent of its rigid plastics goal and 84 percent of its fiber materials goal.
In addition to the packaging upgrade, the labels have been redesigned. The new packaging includes hand-drawn illustrations to communicate the lighthearted, quirky nature of the Sir Kensington's brand, according to the company.
“We are so proud to have executed a brand refresh that not only speaks more directly to our fans but also moves forward many of our impact initiatives. As a certified B Corp., we truly believe in using business as a force for good and I'm confident that this is proof that we're moving in the right direction," said Alexandre Medeiros, Sir Kensington's general manager, in a statement.
