Show to Feature MLK Day Commemoration, Leadership Awards

The second day of the Winter Fancy Food Show will begin at 8:45 a.m. with the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day commemoration on the Main Stage on Level 2, W232.  It will be followed by the Keynote: How We Eat with Paco Underhill at 9 a.m.

The Show Floor will open at 9:30 a.m. to Key Buyer Members and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for all other attendees.

Livestream coverage at the Show will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. PST and can be viewed here or in person at the SFA Media Center on the Show floor.

The Maker Session “Shopper Marketing: Getting Your Brand to Stand Out and Sell On-Shelf and Online,” begins at 11 a.m. Attendance requires a Maker Pass, a one-price ticket – $99 for SFA members, $199 for non-members – that entitles holders to Maker Sessions that are designed for both new and running specialty food companies. Winter Fancy Food Show attendees can register for The Maker Pass on-site by visiting registration. The Maker Session “Brand Studio” takes place at 1 p.m.

The following sessions are planned for the Big Idea Stage on the Show floor throughout the day:

10:30 a.m.: What Makes EU F&B products More Than Food? 

11:30 a.m.: Pure Flour from Europe: Your Organic and Sustainable Choice 

12:30 p.m.: Diversity Buying: How it Works 

1:30 p.m.: The Six Traits of Highly Successful Specialty Brand/Contract Manufacturing Relationships 

At 4 p.m. on the Main Stage, the SFA will honor its 2023 Leadership Award winners.

The shuttle for the Lip Smacking Foodie Tour (Vegas Sights, Worldly Bites), will depart from the Las Vegas Convention Center at 5:30 p.m.
