Specialty Food Association

Uber’s new Pickup and Go service will allow ride passengers to place orders from restaurants and grocery stores to pick up along the way. The service also allows customers to pre-order items when shops and restaurants are closed, as well as create multiple orders which can be checked out at different times.

In addition, starting this spring in more than 20 cities around the world, customers can add items to their order from a second merchant nearby at checkout with no additional delivery fee.

"The innovations and products that we're announcing will help you go where you want and get what you need easier and faster than ever before," said Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, in a video on the company’s website. "At Uber, we're reimagining how the world moves as we return, not just the normal, but to a better normal."
