Amazon is planning its first Amazon Fresh grocery store in New York, reports Progressive Grocer. According to building permit documents, the 33,342-square-foot store will be located in Plainview, a town on Long Island.
Amazon has declined to provide information about the plans, according to the report. Last November, Amazon announced that it would open an Amazon Fresh store in a shuttered Fairway Market in Woodland Park, New Jersey, but an opening date has yet to be set. Full Story
