After parting ways, Amazon.com and FedEx explored doing more business together, reports The Wall Street Journal.
Last year, according to a person familiar with the matter, the companies discussed FedEx accepting Amazon returns at its retail locations, according to the report. Amazon currently partners with a number of companies including United Parcel Service to handle its returns.
According to the report, the discussions happened last spring, around the same time that Amazon introduced a fee for some customers who bring their returns to UPS stores. Full Story (Subscription Required)
