Specialty Food Association

PCC Community Markets has launched a campaign highlighting local brands at all 15 of its stores in Washington state, reports Progressive Grocer. The items are being promoted across PCC’s social media channels throughout September.

“With more than 7,000 local products on its shelves, PCC is spotlighting almost 100 area suppliers across the store via signage featuring brand information and why the grocer enjoys working with them, as well as offering special pricing,” said the grocer.

Brands taking part in the campaign include River Valley Organics produce from Oxbow Farm; meat and seafood from Draper Valley Farms and Ocean Beauty; bakery and deli items from Alki Bakery, Red Plate Foods, Macrina Bakery; cheese from Coro By Salumi and Girl Meets Dirt; grocery items from Tony’s Coffee, Miss Marjories, Naija Buka, and Frankie & Jo's; as well as beer and wine from Cooper Mountain Vineyards, Vital Wines, Fremont Brewing, and Bale Breaker Brewing Co.
