Specialty Food Association members have been highlighted in various news outlets for their impact on the industry. Carbone, Fly By Jing, Konscious Foods, TÖST, and Prime Roots are among those recently featured.
In a story about food innovations, FoodDive highlighted Carbone’s Alfredo and Roasted Garlic Alfredo sauces.

Women-focused media company PureWow reported on various culinary uses for Fly By Jing’s flagship Chili Crisp product including as a topping for ice cream.
“I think a common misconception that we're trying to change at the brand is that if you’re cooking with a Chinese condiment, like Chili Crisp, that you can only make Chinese food, which is simply not true,” said Fly By Jing founder Jing Gao.
Foodservice Director awarded plant-based seafood brand Konscious Foods, non-alcoholic wine maker TÖST, and plant-based meat producer Prime Roots with the Food & Beverage 2024 Award at the recent National Restaurant Association Show. The honor celebrates innovation and emerging trends in foods and beverages, especially related to foodservice.
