As part of a partnership forged between the Specialty Food Association and The Food Institute, a live broadcast from the Summer Fancy Food Show floor will take place today from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Geared to both in-person and virtual audiences, programming will include interviews with SFA staff, exhibitors, Hall of Fame honorees, trendspotters, sofi Award winners, and more.
Veteran TV journalist Susan Choi, FI’s director of digital media will serve as anchor. Susan has previous experience working at ABC News and NBC News. FI will have a team of on-the-ground reporters and analysts conducting live interviews from different Show locations and will provide commentary on the latest trends that may shape the specialty food industry in the months and years ahead.
“We’re so pleased to collaborate with a trusted source like The Food Institute to expand our coverage of the Summer Show and use new content platforms to showcase the products, trends, and news that make it the premier specialty food and beverage event in the industry,” said Denise Purcell, SFA’s vice president, content and education.
The livestream is publicly available via specialtyfood.com, YouTube (Monday's coverage, Tuesday's coverage), LinkedIn, and Facebook. In-person attendees can visit the SFA Media Center at Booth 6721 on the Show floor. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and leave comments both in-person and virtually.
