LikeMeat, a Livekindly Collective brand, has launched its plant-based Like Chick'n Wings in over 1,400 Target stores nationwide.
As the most watched sporting event of the year approaches, consumers are seeking the right snacks for watch parties. In fact, an estimated 89 percent of Americans will gather with others to watch the Superbowl, and 70 percent plan on purchasing alternative or diet-specific foods for the event.
"Launching in Target in time for the big game is a big win for us," said Emily Klooster, vice president of marketing for LikeMeat, in a statement. "Like Chick'n Wings are a crispy plant-based alternative that satisfy the craviest of cravings. We’re here to crash the chicken party, one wing at a time."
They're wings without a bone to pick, literally. LikeMeat's spin on a fan-favorite party food is 100 percent plant-based, while still delivering the crispy, juicy, meaty taste and texture of wings.
Stocked in the freezer section, the wings are non-GMO, gluten-free, and packed with plenty of plant-powered protein and fiber. Each bag includes a vegan buffalo sauce that can be used to coat, toss, or dip the wings in.
