Baking mixes and kits that appeal to children and adults alike will debut at the Summer Fancy Food Show, kicking off this Sunday, June 25, at the Javits Center in New York.
The Invisible Chef will showcase its new line of baking kits that include everything needed to bake and decorate the product. They include:
• Rainbow Sprinkle Cookie Bar, with cookie bar mix, frosting mix, and rainbow sprinkles.
• Sprinkle Dot Vanilla Sugar Cookies, with cookie mix and sprinkle dots.
• Spring Cookie Kit, Bird’s Nest Spring Thumbprint Cookie, including coconut cookie mix, coconut flakes, and jelly-bean eggs.
The company will also feature its new Chili and Cornbread Starter Kit, which includes a chili starter mix and a cornbread mix. The Invisible Chef can be found at Booth #5811.
Baking Coach will feature its line of Edible Cookie Dough baking kits. The kit includes pre-measured ingredients that go into a food-safe bag so water can be added and children can “smash mix” the contents until a dough forms.
The kits come in Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Cookie, and Birthday Sprinkle varieties. Baking Coach can be found at Booth #4605.
An allergen-free brownie mix will also be featured for the first time at the Show: The Pink Bakery’s No Frownie Brownie will be available to sample in the New, Now, Next area at the Show.
“I started The Pink Bakery because I am 1 of the 85 million Americans who are negatively impacted by food allergies. I’m severely allergic to milk and wheat! I taught myself how to bake allergen-free because the dessert options presented to me weren’t cutting it. If you’ve ever had old-school gluten-free and vegan anything, you know they had weird textures and tasted nasty. Seriously, who wants to eat that?” said Nubian Simmons, founder of The Pink Bakery.
