Hannaford has remodeled five of its stores, featuring new services and offerings.
During the first six months of this year, the company enhanced its selection of fresh, high-quality grab-and-go meal options; its local, organic, and gluten-free selections; expanded its pharmacies; provided more self-checkout kiosks; and implemented the Hannaford To Go online grocery ordering program, for pickup and delivery.
“At Hannaford, we know that the needs and desires of our customers are constantly evolving and that our stores and services should do the same,” said Hannaford Supermarkets VP of retail operations Todd Bullen, in a statement. “This series of enhancements [are] focused on introducing features that make shopping [at] our stores an even easier and more enjoyable experience for our customers, while continuing to provide them with the same quality, fresh products...”
The following locations were included in the remodeling efforts:
• Harbor Village Hannaford in Townsend, Massachusetts
• North Avenue Hannaford in Burlington, Vermont
• Brandon Hannaford in Brandon, Vermont
• Rotterdam Hannaford in Rotterdam, New York
• Leominster Twin City Hannaford in Leominster, Massachusetts
The grocer has also donated $14,000 to local hunger relief and child and family development organizations to celebrate the upgrades.
