H-E-B, the Texas-based supermarket, will host a one-day hiring event to fill full- and part-time positions at every H-E-B, Central Market, and Mi Tienda store in Texas. The event, to be held between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on August 23, will allow candidates to receive on-site interviews for positions at the store location.
The career fair will focus on hiring for hourly roles, including curbside, checkers, produce and deli representatives, bakers, cooks, and people to staff True Texas BBQ restaurants, owned by the grocer.
“At H-E-B, our success starts with our amazing Partners, who work hard every day to serve Texans across the state,” said Mayerland Harris, H-E-B group vice president of talent, in a statement. “As we grow, we’re committed to hiring more people who are excited to provide our customers and communities the best H-E-B has to offer, in our stores, online, and through passionate community service.”
H-E-B locations that are expected to open soon will not participate in this opportunity. Candidates are encouraged to send an application online before attending.
