GreenDropShip, a B2B marketplace and U.S. supplier, has revealed its online platform focused on growing natural brands by connecting them to merchants.
The website intends to simplify the “to market” journey for emerging brands, allowing them to publish their listings on the platform and include information, images, pricing, and capabilities to connect and distribute to retailers. The brands’ vendor pages will also allow them to include policies, shipping terms, and inventory.
The platform came from a need for emerging natural and organic brands to maximize their footprint and find merchants to sell their products, according to a statement by GreenDropShip. The company’s founder and CEO, Allen Kaplun, sought to remedy this need by connecting these products with GreenDropShip’s existing user base.
"The upcoming marketplace gives emerging brands in the natural products space an opportunity to showcase their line directly to our ever-expanding base of online merchants,” Kaplun said in a statement. “This is a potential target market neither side would have connected with otherwise."
To fund platform development, the company has partnered with fintech company Republic to launch a crowdfunding campaign.
