Giant Stocks Japanese Snack Boxes

Giant Food began exclusively offering the Japan Crate Mystery Box from Japan Crate on June 1 at all 164 locations throughout Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C.

The snack box includes an assortment of Japanese snacks, candy, and drinks imported from the country, according to Japan Crate owner Bokksu.

"We are excited to partner with Bokksu to bring this special mystery Japan Crate to our customers,” said Matt Novosel, director of direct store delivery and specialty at Giant Food, in a statement. "This special mystery box provides our customers with the opportunity to experience authentic Japanese snacks and drinks from their local grocery store.”

Bokksu founder and CEO Danny Taing said he was happy to share Japanese flavors with an American audience.

"We’re incredibly excited to bring the authentic flavors of Japan to Giant Food stores across the U.S. Our goal has always been to share Japan’s vibrant snack culture with as many people as possible, and this product placement allows us to reach even more snack lovers than before," he said.
