German company Frostkrone Food Group is acquiring U.K.-based Abergavenny Fine Foods, expanding its international presence and adding a diverse finger food and snack selection to its portfolio. Abergavenny's portfolio include Halloumi Fries, Jalapeño Poppers, Mac'n'Cheese Croquettes, and Jaffa Cake Bites, as well as goat cheese products. Following the acquisition of Abergavenny Fine Foods Ltd., Frostkrone now boasts seven locations worldwide.
“We’re planning for the future. The finger food and snack market is continuing to grow and we, as an innovation driver, want to definitively grow with it,” said Frédéric Dervieux, CEO of the Frostkrone Food Group, in a statement. “Now with Abergavenny Fine Foods, we have a strong partner in our team, a partner who has a tremendous amount of know-how at its fingertips and fantastic business connections to Australia and Japan.”
Abergavenny’s commercial director, Bryson Craske, will stay on as a consultant to the Frostkrone Food Group, due to his experience with exports. “I am delighted that I will be able to support Frostkrone and to contribute to its success well after the sale process is complete,” he said in a statement.
