Midwest grocery chain Fareway Stores now offers curbside pickup at all 126 of its locations in a five state region, reports Supermarket News. Customers can place orders via the grocer’s website or mobile app. The service is free with a $30 minimum purchase.
Curbside pickup was first launched at Fareway’s flagship Boone, Iowa store in January of this year.
“Our unmatched Fareway experience now includes the convenience of online shopping,” said Fareway CEO Reynolds W. Cramer. “Fareway experts will continue to cut and package fresh meat, offer farm-fresh produce to proper ripeness, and provide exceptional customer service.
