Dunkin’ revealed Monday that it is infusing its ready-to-drink coffees and teas with alcohol as part of its new Dunkin’ Spiked Iced Coffees and Iced Teas line.
This marks the retailer’s continued expansion into the ready-to-drink alcoholic beverage market, after the brand collaborated with Harpoon Brewery on coffee-inspired beers.
“We knew we had the opportunity to create something special when we saw the positive response to our previous seasonal collaborations for Dunkin’-inspired beers. The growing appetite for adult beverages inspired us to put a twist on our customers’ favorite Dunkin’ Iced Coffee, Iced Tea, and Refresher flavors,” said Brian Gilbert, VP of retail business development at Dunkin’, in a statement. “Dunkin’ Spiked is perfect for day or night enjoyment and comes in eight distinct flavors, available in grocery and package stores later this month.”
Dunkin’ Spiked Iced Coffee has an alcohol by volume of 6 percent and is inspired by popular coffee flavors. The Spiked Iced Teas have an ABV of 5 percent. Both can be purchased in a 12- or 4-pack, or individually, and are available in the following flavors:
• Dunkin’ Spiked Original Iced Coffee
• Dunkin’ Spiked Caramel Iced Coffee
• Dunkin’ Spiked Mocha Iced Coffee
• Dunkin’ Spiked Vanilla Iced Coffee
• Dunkin’ Spiked Slightly Sweet Iced Tea
• Dunkin’ Spiked Half & Half Iced Tea, made with iced tea and lemonade
• Dunkin’ Spiked Strawberry Dragonfruit Iced Tea Refresher
• Dunkin’ Spiked Mango Pineapple Iced Tea Refresher
Later this month, Dunkin’ Spiked Iced Teas will be available in stores, while Dunkin’ Spiked Iced Coffees will debut in early September. These beverages will be available in Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, and Vermont.
