Daiya Debuts New Flavor, Packaging

Specialty Food Association

Daiya, a North American dairy-free cheese brand, has introduced new and vibrant packaging for its Deluxe Mac & Cheeze line, and has added a new cheddar jalapeño flavor to its lineup.

The new flavor offers a bold and mildly spicy kick of jalapeños and will be available at Whole Foods Market stores in the U.S. beginning in February, says the brand.

"Daiya's better-than-ever Deluxe Mac & Cheeze varieties will bowl you over with flavor that you may not expect from a dairy-free version," said Dan Hua, vice president of marketing at Daiya, in a statement. "Our appetizing alternatives to the 'tried and true' that you grew up with will introduce your family to something new while setting you up on a path of discovery – one delicious bite at a time."

First launched in 2015, Daiya Deluxe Mac & Cheeze has a textured sauce and consistency in a pour-and-stir pouch.
