The Greek beverage businesses Green Cola and Chitos have partnered to bolster their business in international markets. The collaboration is an extension of their existing commercial distribution agreement currently operational in the Greek market.
To advance the partnership, a joint company called Green Beverages Group Plc was established in the U.K. Both companies will operate autonomously in the Greek market, and production will continue to take place in Greece.
The companies aim to expand their portfolios of non-alcoholic beverages by strengthening the presence of their products in active foreign markets, like North America, Europe, and the Middle East, while also entering the new markets of Asia, Australia, and Latin and South America. Green Beverages products are currently sold in 46 countries and can be found in the U.S. in Kroger, Whole Foods, HEB, Market Basket, Meijer, Stop & Shop, Amazon, and Walmart.com.
