The Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration will require all employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their workforce is fully vaccinated or require unvaccinated workers to produce a negative test result on at least a weekly basis. This will impact over 80 million workers in private sector businesses, according to a statement from the White House.
This is part of President Biden’s six-pronged comprehensive national strategy to combat COVID-19, which also includes an executive order signed by the President that requires all federal executive branch workers to be vaccinated.
