Bend Sauce Acquires Brother Bru-Bru's

Specialty Food Association

Brother Bru-Bru, the maker of African Hot Pepper and Chipotle Sauce, has been acquired by Bend Sauce, a company focused on introducing the finest premium sauces and seasonings to consumers through retailers and foodservice partners.

Brother Bru-Bru's salt-, sugar-, and gluten-free products will be exhibited alongside Bend Sauce at various upcoming hot sauce expos.

“Brother Bru-Bru's is legendary,” says Craig Reinhart, maker and co-founder at Bend Sauce, in a statement. “For years we have devoured this hot sauce at family gatherings and on the daily. It's always in our fridge. Everyone loves this spicy creation made possible by Bruce Langhorne and his longtime collaborator Cynthia Riddle who has owned and led Brother Bru-Bru's since 2009.”

Bend Sauce has added this acquisition to its list of recent accomplishments, including reaching availabilities in over 190 retail and foodservice establishments in the US, and its recent recognition for its zero-waste and upcycling efforts.
