Aldi will open a store in Thibodaux, Louisiana, this Thursday. Grand opening events include shopping tote and grocery giveaways, the chance to win a $500 gift card, and golden tickets for the first 100 shoppers that could be worth up to $100.
The retailer has store openings in Parrish, Florida and Renssleaer and Rocky Point, New York planned for later this month. Aldi is also expanding in Arizona, California, Illinois, Maryland, Mississippi, Ohio, and Pennsylvania as part of its effort to add 120 new stores nationwide this year.
“While inflation is undoubtedly driving unprecedented demand for affordable groceries, we know that once customers experience the ALDI difference, they keep shopping with us, even when the economy improves,” said Jason Hart, CEO, ALDI US, in a statement.
