Albertsons has launched FreshPass, an unlimited grocery delivery service with members-only perks, as well as a new shopper loyalty program and a Deals & Delivery app that combines all of Albertsons' digital offerings.
“We have been working hard to revolutionize Albertsons Companies’ digital offerings and enhance all aspects of the food experience and journey,” said Chris Rupp, EVP and chief customer and digital officer, in a statement. “We have been in lock-step with our customers and this launch exemplifies our commitment to innovation and customer service, meeting shoppers where they want to shop whether that be in store, curbside, or at home.”
FreshPass is available for $99 a year and offers unlimited free delivery on orders of $30 or more, and in select markets, free 2-hour grocery delivery and Drive Up & Go shopping experiences.
Along with this new service, Albertsons’ revamped loyalty program, Albertsons for U, combines the best of the previous loyalty program with new personalized deals, rewards, and perks.
Both Freshpass and Albertsons for U have been integrated into the Deals & Delivery app, which allows customers to shop, save, and redeem rewards all in one place.
