Mentorship makes our industry stronger
Running a successful specialty food business is no easy feat. From getting started with one great product to finding inspiration to expand into the right categories, challenges abound.
Fortunately, SFA members are part of a passionate community dedicated to supporting one another.
Through the SFA Mentorship program, early-stage makers get matched with industry veterans who can help them navigate their biggest hurdles. Mentors get to know the next generation of specialty food stars while gaining insight and inspiration.
Commitments and opportunities
Mentors and mentees meet 1:1 about once a month to share, brainstorm, and get to know one another.
All program participants are also invited to join popular virtual sessions focused on a big topic like Sales & Marketing or Working with Brokers, which take place every other month.
