In 1984, 3rd generation Belgium baker Peter DeBeukelaer, seeking the American dream, moved to Mississippi and founded Pirouline, an innovative cookie company. Pirouline cookies are slowly toasted rolled wafers filled with cremes and sealed with an iconic and cylindrical stripe. Peter introduced a range of technical and baking innovations including the trademarked swirl on the rolled wafers. Today, Pirouline is still a family business and are produced in a 115,000-square-foot baking facility that supports 200-plus team members.
