Gary is the fourth generation CEO and chocolate maker at the business his great-grandfather Etienne started in 1868 with a few bags of cocoa beans on the San Francisco waterfront that now produces some of the world's most sophisticated chocolate. Under his guidance, Guittard Chocolate continues to thrive, pushing innovations in product, industry and sustainability with a family of longtime employees while nurturing the fifth generation.
