Don King
Foods of All Nations
King's passion for exotic foods began with deployment to Russia, North Africa, France and Germany during World War ll. Returning to his hometown of Charlottesville, VA, King started a small neighborhood store called the Seven Day Shopping Center. In 1961, the New York Times Cook Book listed only store one outside New York City as a food resource. King renamed the store Foods of all Nations and it still operates today.
