Championing our members is the Specialty Food Association’s most important function - and this includes celebrating members’ standout achievements. To that end, the Specialty Food Association has created a Hall of Fame to honor individuals whose impact, contributions, innovations, and successes within the specialty food industry deserve praise and recognition.
Nominations for 2024 honorees closed in March 2024. Check back for updates about the 2025 nomination process.
Nominees must have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the specialty food industry and one of the following:
- Currently maintain an ownership stake in, or be an employee of, an SFA member company in good standing.
- Previously had an ownership stake or was an employee of a company that was an SFA member in good standing for a minimum of 10 years.
- Be a current or retired SFA staff member who served the industry in their position as a full-time employee for a minimum of 25 years.
Self-nominations and nominations from public relations or marketing firms will not be accepted. SFA Board Members may not be nominated during their active terms.
A panel of independent judges - part of the SFA Recognition Council - will convene to review entries and select honorees. This panel has the right to change/reassign award types if deemed appropriate.
