Hy-Vee Event to Uplift POC, Woman-Owned Business

Hy-Vee will demonstrate its commitment to local minority- and women-owned companies through a products and services showcase opportunity for the greater Kansas City, Missouri area.

The Hy-Vee Opportunity Inclusive Business Summit will be held Tuesday, September 27 in Kansas City and will feature resources for small businesses, learning opportunities through presentations and panel discussions, and more. Local community groups and organizations, businesses in the area, and professionals interested in supporting or networking with owners of small businesses may attend at no cost.

The event will include a pitch competition to which minority- and women-owned businesses are encouraged to apply. Brands have the chance to win a $30,000 grand prize for their business or one of three $5,000 prizes. Makers of the following product types are encouraged to apply: food and beverage, product innovation and technology, and wellness and beauty.
