What is Space Draw?

SFA members enjoy early access to booth selection for the 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show through the Space Draw process. We encourage all SFA members to participate in Space Draw, and gain the advantage of selecting your booth space early.


Booth Space Pricing

• $4,700 per 10 x 10 booth* for Specialty Food Association Members

• $5,000 per 10 x 10 booth* for International Pavilions & International Non-Members

* $650 upcharge per 10x10 corner booth


How It Works

In early April, the show contact on file for every Tier 2 SFA member company will be sent a link via Map Your Show to the online Exhibit Space Application & Contract. If you did not receive the email and would like to request a contract, please contact [email protected]

The deadline to submit your Exhibit Space Application & Contract with 40% deposit is Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Your company’s booth selection order is based on your priority point and the date your contract and deposit are received.

SFA will send an email to your primary Show contact in early May confirming an appointment date and time for selecting booth space. Booth selection order will begin with priority group #1. 

Please note: If you miss the deadline to submit the application, contract, and deposit, you will be able to select a booth onsite at the Summer 2024 Show on a first-come, first-served basis following all scheduled Space Draw appointments.

The Benefits of Exhibiting in a Pavilion


One of our top tips for booth selection is to consider exhibiting in a product category segment (or Pavilion) on the Show Floor. If you have a product that is specific to—or complements—one of the product category segments at the 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show, consider booking a booth in that segment to help buyers discover your product. Here’s why: 

• Most buyers now purchase by category and have asked for the Show Floor to be organized in this manner. Buyers want a global picture of how products sit together on the shelf or in the case.  

• Buyers can work the Show more efficiently and have better conversations with manufacturers when they don’t feel pressured to cover the entire floor looking for that “special product.”  

• Product category segments are heavily promoted by the SFA in communications to buyer attendees. The 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show will feature the following segments: 

o Beverage Pavilion

o Deli Pavilion

o Bakery Pavilion

o Confectionery, Snacks & Sweets Pavilion

o Plant Based Pavilion

o Supplier Diversity Pavilion

o Debut District (first-time exhibitors, new products, and startups)

Space Draw & Exhibitor FAQs

  • Space Draw is SFA’s booth space selection process.
  • All product-qualified, Tier 2 SFA member companies are invited to take part in the 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show Space Draw process.
  • The 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show is June 29 - July 1, 2025, at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City.
  • Follow the link provided in the Space Draw email that was sent to your company’s main Show contact to submit your Exhibit Space Contract with 40% deposit. Contracts and deposits are due by Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Once SFA receives your materials, Member Relations will reach out to you to help select your booth space.
  • For the 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show, the cost will be $47/square foot for domestic members. Corner booths will have an additional cost of $650.00.
  • • Pipe and drape booth structure: 8’ high black back drape and 3’ high black side drape
    • Listing in the online directory and mobile app
    • Complimentary exhibitor badges: 5 badges per 10' x 10' of exhibit space

    Plus: SFA member-exclusive add-ons
    • Material Handling/Drayage Package: SFA covers the cost of 100 lbs of material handling for each 10' x 10' booth space occupies (for example, a 20’x20’ booth would receive 400 lbs of complimentary material handling). For exhibitors in a linear booth space up to 400 sq ft, SFA will also cover the cost of an additional 100 lbs of material handling per 10' x 10' booth.

    (2) 6' undraped tables (30” high x 24” wide)

    (1) wastebasket
    10' x 10' booth carpet

    The complimentary booth package can be requested via the Freeman Services Portal once a booth contract is finalized.
  • After submitting your contract and deposit by the April 30, 2024 deadline, you will receive an email with your Space Draw appointment date and time. If you are unable to make your appointment, you can designate someone else to select your booth or an SFA representative will select your booth by proxy, based on the preferences noted in your contract.
  • Your company’s place in the booth selection order is based on your priority points, square footage, and the date your contract and deposit are received. The priority point system is based on a member company’s exhibiting history. The longer a member has been exhibiting at a given Show, the earlier the member can select booth space for next year’s Show based on their priority point total.
  • If you submit your contract and deposit AFTER April 30, 2024, you will not be able to select a booth until Space Draw has concluded. An SFA representative will contact you when it is your turn.
  • A booth will be booked by SFA proxy based on the preferences noted in your contract, and an email with your confirmed booth will be sent to the primary contact for the company. You will have the option to be reassigned to your booth of preference, based on availability.

  • Your 2024 annual dues must be paid in full to take part in the 2025 Summer Fancy Food Show Space Draw. If you have not yet done so, please review the status of your membership by logging into your account on www.specialtyfood.com or reaching out to your SFA Relations Manager.
