Since 2017, Ideal Fish is the only land-based Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) in North America producing Branzino, or European Seabass.

Ideal Fish, beyond being a RAS Branzino producer, markets, sells, processes and distributes other RAS-produced species (currently salmon, trout, barramundi, and shrimp) from “partner” facilities under the Ideal Fish brand name. This not only reinforces our support of sustainably raised RAS-produced fish, but also offers consumers, restaurants and foodservice customers a broader portfolio of products to meet their needs.
Ideal Fish’s strategy is to locate fish production in the heart of seafood consumption markets, leveraging urban transportation, industrial infrastructure and workforces.
