Oregon Cherry Growers, LLC
In 1929, Oregon Cherry Growers (OCG) helped to pioneer the way maraschino cherries are processed today by partnering with OSU Horticulturalist, Ernest Wiegand- who invented the current process. Since then, OCG has brought about a number of innovations and milestones for the category - including the first to offer a non-GMO project verified, made with all natural ingredients- maraschino cherry. We are known for our region's dark sweet varieties and produce the one of the only, stem on, dark sweet maraschino cherries found only in North America (Bordeaux-Style and Tillen Farms Bada Bing.) We are also the first to offer stand up, re-sealable maraschino pouches for the retail industry.
