Our fruits made by stringing walnuts on a thread, letting them hang in the sun to dry, then dipping them to glaze in the grape molasses, coating them. this then, is hung again to dry. Our first run at the cookbook was to make this. but we didn’t want to sun dry (takes too long), so we tried to find other mechanisms of drying foods. we searched and came across a dehydrator, ordered one, and put it to use. surprised at how well the results turned out, we were yet again intrigued at this tool – the dehydrator, which essentially just evaporates any moisture/water content from foods.
