November 8, 2021-Brighton, MI- Whey Better Cookie Co. to launch their own gluten free cookie line. “We get so many requests for gluten free cookies, so I started experimenting with different recipes.” Says Keri Hayes, owner of Whey Better Cookie Co. “We are happy now that we can serve a population who haven’t been to enjoy our big protein cookies.”
These cookies will come in a 3oz size and will not contain whey protein, but will be made in all the same flavors the protein cookies come in. Chocolate Chip, Monster, Peanut Butter and Double Chocolate to name a few.
We have already received such positive feedback on the flavor of these cookies, you would never know they are gluten free. “Oh, my goodness! These might be the best chocolate chip cookies I’ve ever had, gluten free or not” says Christina Kafkais and local Brighton photographer said. “She was the first customer to try them” says Keri. “She was very happy she could enjoy a genuinely delicious cookie again.”

The bakery has also opened a holiday gift shop that features all small businesses. “We feature local small business as well as small businesses across the county. We have cute coffee mugs from Nashville, Coffee from New York City, delightfully smelling candles from Detroit. It a great way to support many small businesses in one shop.
