Responsible Foods is a food start-up company founded in 2019 in Reykjavik, Iceland by food scientists Dr. Holly T. Kristinsson (Petty) and her Viking husband Dr. Hordur G. Kristinsson. Holly, from Alaska, has all her life struggled with food allergies and intolerances and was reinvigorated by Icelandic food. So, Holly and Hordur started making NæraTM Icelandic Snacks, Iceland´s Most Delicious Better-For-You Snacks!
Their natural snacks are made with super dairy ingredients from one of the most pristine places on earth. Næra (Nai-ra) means to nourish and with authentic super proteins from pure and clean beautiful Icelandic nature, they created fun and delicious popped snacks. These one of a kind, popped premium snacks are gently processed and are made with green energy! NæraTM natural snacks are vegetarian friendly as well as gluten, wheat, peanut, GMO, and preservative free. Savory and sweet options are available.
