Noyers-sur-Cher, France – January 15, 2020 -- Guénard Gourmet Oils, one of the newest SFA members, is kicking off 2021 with a booth at the Specialty Food Live! Virtual event.
Its specialty virgin nut and seed oils have only been available in the US since the beginning of 2020, and the company is excited to exhibit for the first time. It looks forward to meeting buyers, chefs and fellow Specialty Food Association members online and fielding questions about its products from show attendees.
The artisanal producer’s French-origin walnut oil has won several awards during the annual Concours Général Agricole (French Agricultural Show) in Paris, and their French-origin hazelnut oil won Best-of Gourmet in 2013.
The exclusive Virtual Tasting Experience on January 19, at 11am EST, will offer over a dozen buyers the opportunity to taste Guénard’s oils as part of the Plant Based’s Continued Revolution category. Guénard is honored to have the opportunity to present their products to preselected specialty food buyers during the hour-long SFA-moderated session as a Tier-2 member.

Founded in 1824 and based in Noyers-sur-Cher, the company is rooted firmly in the Loire Valley region, home to French Kings throughout the centuries and known for its celebrated castles. The current facility in Noyers-sur-Cher (meaning “walnut tree by the Cher river”) was built in 1976 to expand and modernize their processes. Today, Guénard offers around 30 different gourmet oils for sale to fine specialty food stores and high-end restaurants, which allows it to offer a wide range of exceptional flavors, both classic and original.
