New York, NY, January 10, 2023 – Forever Cheese will be showcasing products from their catalog of cheese and specialty foods in booth 2657 at the Winter Fancy Food Show, January 15 through 17 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The acclaimed importer, which focuses on unique and exceptional foods from Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Croatia, will debut a number of cheeses never before imported to the U.S. and will highlight a wide variety of cheese accompaniments under their Mitica® brand.
Some of the new additions to Forever Cheese’s catalog include The Truffle Kid™, an aged goat’s milk cheese marbled with black truffle paste. They developed the cheese with their partner in Jumilla, Spain, who also makes the popular Drunken Goat®. Explains co-founder Michele Buster, “The Truffle Kid is a labor of love that has been in the works for quite some time. The final outcome is even better than I imagined. The cheese is incredibly beautiful – the truffle marbling is like a tapestry inside the cheese. It’s a fantastic addition to our popular line of Spanish goat cheeses that are approachable yet sophisticated.”
Forever Cheese will also feature Capriolina, a small-format goat cheese with a washed rind from the heart of Val Taleggio, Italy, as well as traditional Portuguese cheeses Gardunha and Amarelo. They will round out their selection with their line of premium presliced Dehesa Cordobesa® Ibéricos, perfect for charcuterie boards, and will highlight new varieties of their Italian crackers Toketti and Pane di Musica.
Cheesemaker and friend of Forever Cheese, Oscar Fernando Marcos González, be flying in from Spain to Las Vegas for the show to join them in their booth. Mr. González is the creator and maker of Leonora® and Leonora a Fuego® goat cheese, both lush and decadent soft-ripened cheeses from the region of Castilla y León. He will be sampling his two small production artisan cheeses in this rare tradeshow appearance.
