Winter Show to Feature International Pavilions

At the Winter Fancy Food Show, kicking off this Sunday, January 21, exhibitors will present their specialty products from several international pavilions, representing countries from Asia, Europe, Northern Africa, and greater North America. They include:

Japan: Winter Fancy Food Show's first Asian country partner will feature a diverse selection of gastronomic delights that reflect the culturally rich regions, artisans, and time-honored techniques from Japan. The area will include more than 50 companies. Both the Japan Pavilion and the Japan-sponsored Taste it Live! events will emphasize the country’s seafood offerings.

Canada: The Canada Pavilion will showcase about 20 companies representing the country’s diverse offerings, from Bobba’s bubble tea, to honey products from Dr. Bee, to bean and lentil innovations from Three Farmers Foods.

China: About a dozen exhibitors will make up the China Pavilion, with companies representing the breadth of the country’s agricultural and technological innovations.

France: More than 20 French makers, distributors, and businesses will present traditional French products, including cheese, croissants, butter, chocolate, and more from the France Pavilion.

Greece: Nearly 10 companies from the region will showcase Greek specialties including cheese from Omiros Dairy, olives and tapenades from Deas, and olive oil from Konstantopoulos, in the Greece Pavilion.

Italy: Scores of Italian businesses featuring traditional Italian products and upholding high-quality standards will showcase their offerings, including olive oil and balsamic vinegar, truffles, salami and other cured meats, and cheese, from the Italy Pavilion.

Morocco: About a dozen companies from the North African country will present Morocco's many specialites, including olive oil from Atlas Olive Oils and Moresh, spices from Baba Sidi Herbs, and teas from La Marocaine des Thés et Infusions, in the Morocco Pavilion. Organic and extra virgin olive oil, canned seafood, preserved olives, pasta and couscous, cheese, tea, wafers and biscuits will also be on display.

Spain: About a dozen exhibitors will present myriad delights from the Spain Pavilion, including jamón from Jamones Ibéricos Blázquez; olive oil, sauces, and preserved vegetables from Grupo Ybarra; and beans, nuts, and corn from Barbera Snacks.
