In order to faster serve customers, Walmart is converting one of its North Dallas stores into a fulfillment center for online delivery and pickup orders, reports NBCDFW.
The Walmart Supercenter will close on March 30. While it’s under construction, the 200 employees that work there will be able to transfer to three Walmart Supercenters and one Neighborhood Market that are located within 5 miles of the store. Employees who want to return to the original location will be trained to work in the fulfillment center when it reopens in spring of 2022. Full Story
