Sprouts Farmers Market will open its first store of 2021 and its third in the Reno-Sparks, Nevada area on Wednesday, May 12. This location is part of the redeveloped Reno Public Market retail center and brings 95 jobs to the community.
The new store will feature the same healthy product selection as is offered in other Sprouts stores, including organic produce, fresh meat and seafood, immune-boosting supplements, and plant-based products.
Through Sprouts’ Food Rescue program, the new store will donate groceries that are no longer fit for sale but remain edible and nutrient rich, to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada which provides emergency food services to families through a network of more than 147 partner agencies. In 2020, Sprouts donated an equivalent of approximately 23 million meals to those in need through the program.
