Over 800 Publix and 400 Sprouts locations have sourced MingsBings, a plant-based frozen brand from Iron Chef Ming Tsai. These partnerships increase the company’s retail presence in Southern California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, and the Southeast. Chef Tsai is known for combining Eastern and Western flavors into dishes.
A bing is a Chinese-style thin bread that is often filled with various ingredients. Plant-Based Fiesta Bing with plant-based chorizo and taco-inspired patty, and Plant-Based Cheeseburger with vegan cheddar cheese are among the varieties available at the retailers.
"As consumers demand better-tasting plant-based options, we're honored to bring MingsBings to the shelves at Publix and Sprouts. These incredible retailers have great, loyal customer bases eager to try new things," said Tsai in a statement. "Their decision to partner with MingsBings is a testament to how retail stores' are now bringing attention to sourcing delicious, healthy, easy-to-prepare food brands for families on the go. We're excited about this expansion and making it easier for customers to find MingsBings at more retailers nationwide!"
The line is now available at over 4,000 grocery stores in the U.S. including Wegmans, Target, and Whole Foods.
